The Origin Story
Growing up in Detroit, Michigan, Janelle was immersed in the arts from the very beginning. She spent her childhood dancing alongside her mother, a professional dancer who created her own dance studio to train the next generation. Being raised in that environment instilled a deep appreciation for discipline, creativity, and the power of live performance. The studio wasn’t just where she trained — it was where she learned dedication, artistry, and the importance of community.
